Refund Policy
At Claritech Water Purification Systems, we stand behind the performance of our products. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before initiating a return.
30-Day Performance Guarantee All Claritech water purification systems are covered by our 30-Day Performance Guarantee. If your system has been correctly installed and operated according to our instructions, and fails to keep your water clear within 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund with no restocking fee.
Return Eligibility Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible:
- You must have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
- The unit must be securely packaged in its original or equivalent packaging
- A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained before sending any return — contact us at sales@claritech.nz first
Restocking Fee If the unit has been installed and the copper-silver electrodes activated, but you are returning due to a change of mind, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover electrode and reprocessing costs. Units returned uninstalled and in original condition receive a full refund.
Return Shipping The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend a tracked and insured courier service — Claritech cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at sales@claritech.nz if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Non-Returnable Items The following cannot be returned: items returned without a Return Authorisation (RA) number, items returned after the 30-day window, and items damaged due to misuse or failure to follow the installation instructions.
Exchanges To exchange an item, return the original and place a new order once your return is accepted.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling Off Period If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact sales@claritech.nz.
